Great to see our boys getting a little run together, something I predicted after a very tough opening first 10 games. Obviously I expected us to amass a few more points than we did. But never mind, we've got most of our toughest games out the way. Just Arsenal away next week now!

I'm glad Rafa is starting to stick to a winning team, and I hope it continues. I love the guy, but if he has a fault, it's the rotation. But, unlike Houllier, at least he's showing that he made a mistake.

There's nothing wrong with having a strong bench, but I do

Gawd, 5 months since I last posted a blog! I didn't realise.

"Same old, same old" really. Job is going great. Hard work but it more than pays the bills, which makes a nice change.

Music - Forty Licks has been stuck in the car stereo for two months. I can't believe I'd been listening to guitar music for over 10 years and never listened to a Stones CD! Sympathy For The Devil is simply one of the greatest songs ever written.

If I'm not playing that, then I'm playing Snow Patrol's latest offering. Not as good as Final Straw but still very good.

Well Done Arsenal

It's been a while since I've been on here. The new job has really kicked in. And the ebay shop seems to have taken off in the past month. So there doesn't seem to be many spare hours in the week at the minute.

Will start by saying "well done" to Arsenal. Have to admit to feeling slightly jealous as it's a very similar situation to how we were this time last year (happy memories). They are struggling in terms of challenging for the league, but grinding out the results against Europe's elite. How that works I don't know.

I would be disappointed

Chelsea Out

I think everyone except me has this nasty flu virus. Everyone in work has been coughing and spluttering. And Chez has been barfing for the past two nights (sorry if anyone is eating). Not good really.

Hoping Chez is well enough tonight because we've both got tickets for the game. It's going to be very tough. Some people are saying that we can repeat the heroics of last year, but even I can admit that it's not as easy as that. We won't conceed much but we clearly have a goals problems, which I hope magically ends tonight. My head is saying 2-1

Put the car in the garage at 8:30 this morning. It failed it's MOT on brakes last Wednesday so have been driving round scared since in all this snow and ice. Glad it's getting sorted now though.

If anyone reading this has got a PSP, buy Gottlieb Pinball Classics. It's is utterly addictive. Think I played it for around 5-6 hours yesterday.

Was at Anfield on Saturday for the Charlton game. Another frustrating match, but I'm certainly not frsutrated with our players. The Charlton defence were excellent and Thomas Myhre even better. Good to see

That Friday Feeling...

Friday already, class. This week has gone very quickly. Can't believe we had 4 inches of snow in March. No wonder Bush is looking at the environmental state at the moment!

Tickets for V were out at 9am this morning. Logged onto Internet at 10am and they'd sold out everywhere, gutted. Ah well, ebay might have a bargain in a couple of months.

Was impressed with the England performance the other night. Seems like the work ethic has risen now that the world cup finals are on the horizon. Think we have a good chance of doing well, it just depends

Working at St Helens is a bit of a drive. However, it's class having a bit of time to listen to my music. Something that I haven't been able to do for years.

Bought a couple of cd's in the past two weeks - the new albums from The Artic Monkeys and Richard Ashcroft.

I have to say that the AM's album is utterly amazing. Loads of energy and great lyrics, something I've missed since the backend of the good old Britpop days.

Slightly disappointed with RA's new offering though. "Dull" is the only word that springs to mind. I loved his first two solo albums but this is a bit pants...

When I got in from work on Friday, I couldn't believe this story on Teletext when I read it.

Part of me felt guilt at first. Because when Robbie originally left in 2001, I felt that he was burnt out and Owen was going to be at the club for years. So a proposed £11m move to Leeds was the right thing for all parties - we get the cash and Fowler gets a fresh start at Leeds.

It seems that since that 2001 move, his career has been constantly stalling. He never really got into a nice scoring run in the first team for either Leeds or City. I could
