Did you all have a nice summer?
At least we had the World Cup because, let’s face it, there has hardly been a gap at all in football this year!
And now with the transfer rumour mill hitting top gear we know it must be time for the real nitty gritty action to be starting again.
In fact by 3pm this coming Saturday the legions of fans who follow clubs in Rola Cola Football Leagues will be once again buzzing off that highly contagious pre-season optimism as their side kick off the 06/07 season.
And what does that mean? Well of course it means UKfpl is back!
After a summer break tending after our very successful World Cup game we’ve been busy bringing a new fresher look to the site – so you will notice some big changes once you get there...but the basics stay the same, and already we have eight new games waiting for you to predict on.
We start with the likes of newly relegated Birmingham, Sunderland and West Brom, old faves like Forest, Crewe and Northampton. And of course a little team by the name of Accrington Stanley will be playing their first Leagues match in yonks – so they had to be included too.
Unfortunately because of the World Cup game we haven’t been able to work as hard on the main site as we would have liked, so you will notice that some of your favourite options may be missing, and some bits may even be broken (let us know if that’s the case!)
Rest assured we are working hard to get things back to full speed!
Of course I will be back next week to fill you on the winners and losers.
Until then, happy predicting.
