With spring well and truly sprung the end of the season is rushing towards us like an sharp object powered by sprung springs.

Hmm yeah it's late in the season an opening lines are getting hard to come up with...

Anyway, on with the results from last week...

Arsenal 0 Vs 1 West Ham
Portsmouth 2 Vs 1 Manchester United
Crystal Palace 3 Vs 0 Preston
Sunderland 2 Vs 1 Wolverhampton
Chesterfield 2 Vs 1 Crewe
Oldham 1 Vs 1 Huddersfield
Accrington Stanley 3 Vs 2 Peterborough
Torquay 1 Vs 2 Walsall

Some interesting scores there, though not all were unpredictably unpredictable with 44 of you fancying the Hammers to turn over the Arsenal (me included – yay!). At the other end of the spectrum only a single solitary user picked Palace's impressive win over Preston.

So how did the weeks scoring get on:

Hmmm well it wasn't too good to be honest. In fact the two top scorers – Ch-Ching (Div9) and vladikavkaz (Div12) only managed a reasonable total of 1100pts to take the top spot. Well done to them. But I have to commiserate the small army of peeps on 1000ptsd – I just can't be bothered, sorry!

Before I give yo a clue to next weeks games I've been asked by Richy to give you a message. He told me off last time for using y initiative, so here is his whole request...

“Can you mention tonight regarding the people who email me about the points the other week, that I haven't forgotten about them and the extra points will be updated at the end of the season before any promotions and relegations are done.”

and also...

“Also can you mention the site may be going down for a couple of days from around the 30th April.”

So there you go. Apparently are servers are being tinkered with, but the downtime should hopefully be minimal!

While I'm talking about him... it was actually Richy's birthday yesterday, so you can all wish him a belated happy birthday!

Right for next weeks matches we have the bottom crunch match of Sheff. Utd. versus the Hammers, Leeds v Burnley and Lincoln v Wrexham amongst plenty of others. Enjoy!

See you next week,

Anthony – aka chiquita
(Don't worry your days as a homeless smack head will soon be over...)
