Another week has flown past like a Xabi Alonso drive from his own half.
Is everyone tired of my constant Liverpool references yet?
Tough! It’s my mailshot.
Only kidding, I will try to cut down on them...
maybe...
at some point.
Anyway the results from last weeks games looked something like this:

Wigan 1 Vs 1 Watford
Leeds 3 Vs 2 Birmingham
Ipswich 3 Vs 1 Sunderland
Tranmere 0 Vs 0 Nottm Forest

Notts County 1 Vs 1 Swindon
There were some high scoring matches to predict on again, but that doesn’t seem to have hindered you lot too much:
1 - splat (Div 2) - 1500pts

3 - SHEPHERD9AVFC (Div19) – 1200pts
3 - Spanish Bluebird (Div47) – 1200pts
Once again we have a cracking top score of 1500pts, this time by UKfpl veteran Splat. This mighty total was enough to secure him a promotion up to Div2 – his highest league placing for a while.
As you probably noticed, I missed the fact that last week was the final week of the UKfpl season, so I totally missed building up the tension as pip_y romped home to take the latest UKfpl Crown.
I blame the whisky.
Sorry about that, but big congratulations to him on his victory!
Before I miss something else I’ll just point out to you that next weeks games feature Everton, Boro, QPR, Crewe, Hereford and Rochdale.
