Yeah, Ok, you got me.

The soooper bank holiday has totally fooled me, and I’d totally forgotten that today is actually Tuesday, and that I should have had this written about 3 hours ago...

So this will be a bit of quickie I’m afraid...

and without further a do, it’s straight on to the results from last week:

Charlton 2 Vs 0 Bolton
Manchester City 1 Vs 0 Arsenal
Colchester 4 Vs 3 Derby
Hull 0 Vs 1 Coventry
Huddersfield 1 Vs 1 Nottm Forest
Scunthorpe 1 Vs 1 Brentford
Bristol Rovers 1 Vs 0 Shrewsbury
Mansfield Town 2 Vs 4 Lincoln City

Despite a couple of goal bonanzas (and a freak result at the City of Manchester) the majority of the games were fairly predictable. Which resulted in some robust scoring:

1 - Richard (Div11) - 1400pts
-------------------------------------------------
2 - plowe (Div18) – 1300pts
2 - PHIL MCPADDEN (Div18) – 1300pts
-------------------------------------------------
3 - harv's army (Div5) - 1100pts
3 – falboy (Div23) – 1100pts
3 –sgj (Div27) -1100pts
3 –Lloydyjack (Div18) – 1100pts
3 - harry_shearwood (Div14) – 1100pts
3 – stevecalton (Div5) – 1100pts

It’s nice to see a really good, solid, above average score. So congrats to Richard who also secured promotion up to Div11 with his cracking total.

As it was the last week of predicting it means that we also have a newly crowned Premiership King... and it’s with very little surprise that we greet pip_y as our new conqueror!

Mind you, it was a good job he’d done well in previous weeks as he managed to almost completely spaff away his 600pts advantage. However, he bravely limped home to finally take the title by a meagre 100pts, valiantly holding off a late surging MilMark.

So congrats to pip on capturing his first ever title!

So a new UKfpl mini-season gets underway this week, and it kicks off in a Premiership free week due to the Euro Qualifiers. So the teams on offer for predicting include – Bournemouth, Bristol, Brighton, Blackpool, Barnet, Bury and Botts Bounty.

See you next week.
