Apologies for being a bit late, it must be all the excitement of that crucial International friendly...
Sorry did I say crucial?
Surely ridiculous, stupid, needless and dangerous are more apt?
Just ask poor Dean Ashton.
Hey Ho, at least once all the key players injure themselves the rest of the players fortunate enough not to get picked can crack on with the return of the Premiership!
But more on that later, here are the results from last weeks featured matches, just in case you missed them:
Leicester 3 Vs 1 Ipswich
Norwich 3 Vs 2 Luton
QPR 2 Vs 0 Southend
Blackpool 0 Vs 1 Rotherham
Brighton 2 Vs 2 Brentford
Doncaster 0 Vs 0 Tranmere
Boston Utd 4 Vs 1 Darlington
Bristol Rovers 1 Vs 0 Grimsby
As you can see there were a lot of unusually high scores, which was reflected in the weeks scoring – with 5 user amassing the meagre top total of 1100pts:
smiley123 1100
TINMAN 1100
nuntz 1100
donkey12d 1100
It was a good week for donkey12d who plies his trade in the Premier League. Those 1100pts have propelled him up to the joint lead of the top league, sharing the pinnacle with last weeks early pace setter pip_y. They now have a very healthy 400pts advantage over the chasing pack and will be looking to solidify their position with the correct predictions of this weeks new games.
(seamless...)
So the Big Boys are back in town, and we bring you the new hopefuls of Reading and Sheff Utd hosting the respective talents of Boro and Liverpool. In other games we have the likes of Cardiff, Oldham, Orient and Hereford.
So go and get your predicting game on, and I’ll see you next week to debrief you again!
