And so it all begins!

Wasn’t it sweet, sweet relief to see Stubbsy’s excited chubby face bringing you the full time scores again?

Just me then...

Anyway, down to the business of predicting. In case you missed them here are the scores from last weeks games:

Birmingham 2 Vs 1 Colchester
West Brom 2 Vs 0 Hull
Coventry 2 Vs 1 Sunderland
Crewe 2 Vs 2 Northampton
Millwall 1 Vs 1 Yeovil
Nottm Forest 1 Vs 0 Bradford
Chester 2 Vs 0 Accrington Stanley
Milton Keynes Dons 2 Vs 1 Bury

Opening days can often be a nightmare to predict, but this season saw a fairly placid series of results.

This was reflected in a good weeks scoring. However, before I plunge head long into my usual feast of statage, I have to point out that due to the changes of the site I am actually missing lots of my usual data. Fear not Stat Fans, normal service will be resumed as soon as possible!

Anyway here’s last week predicting leader board:

orient02 – 1500pts
---------------------------------------
BEANY 1400pts
pompeyse 1400pts
arbourblade 1400pts
JImbrov 1400pts
---------------------------------------
AFC davidlancs 1300pts
Ade 1300pts
pip_y 1300pts

So it was orient02 from Division 16 who bested everybody else this week with a very high score to get the season under way.
pip_y is making an early bid for the Premiership crown by laying down a very strong 1300pts message to everyone else in the top flight – although morty5 is not letting him get to far ahead by posting just 100pts less.

And well that’s about as detailed as I can get in my stat-poor state I’m afraid.
All that is left for me to do is say that the eight new games are up and waiting for your new predictions. Teams this week include Leicester, Norwich, QPR, Blackpool and Grimsby.

Good luck with them, and I’ll see you next week.
